Vanlife

Well we picked up the camper van.  Brand new and only been out once before.  Bit of a beast in size (7.1m long and 2.5m wide), with massive stickout wing mirrors, this will be fun to drive, I thought!

On the road, it has very van like ride and the Scottish roads don't help as they have more and bigger pot holes what I have seen back home.
The contents of the van (plates and stuff) rattle like mad and when driving you can't have a conversation with anyone in the back.

With just 800 miles on the clock, we might get 25mpg from the fiat diesel engines, 6 speed (manual) with 130bhp engine.

The van can sleep 6, with double over the cab, bunks at the rear and lounge area that also converts to a double.  This sounds large, but in practice, with the boys, Woody, Tess and I, it is pretty compact inside.
